National Committman Sam Spencer to address Oxford County Dems

Democratic National Committeeman Sam Spencer of Portland will be the featured speaker on Sunday, March 25th, at 3 PM at the Fare Share Common on Main Street in Norway. The topics to be included are News from the Democratic National Committee and The Latest on the 2008 Presidential Race. Andrea Quaid of Congressman Michaud’s staff will provide a report, and it is expected that there will be reports from several presidential campaigns. The event is sponsored by the Oxford County Democratic Committee, and will be followed by a short business meeting of the committee.
The County Democratic legislators and the Oxford County Democratic Committee will sponsor an Oxford County Democrats Day at the State House on Thursday, April 26, from 9-2. The day, open to Democrats and friends, will be hosted by the Democratic legislative delegation including Senator Bruce Bryant, Rep. John Patrick, Rep. Terry Hayes, Rep. Tim Carter and Rep. Larry Sirois and will provide an opportunity for attending legislative sessions, committee hearings, and touring the State House. Registrations are required for planning purposes as the delegation will be arranging for some briefings and visits with leadership.
