Congressman Allen Guest at Jan. 28 Meeting

Congressman Tom Allen will be the guest speaker at the Oxford County Democrats’ January Meeting to be held in Bethel on Sunday, January 28 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Congressman Allen will address “Democratic Priorities in the New Congress and The President’s Plan for Iraq”. Prior to the remarks by Congressman Allen, there will be a brief business meeting that will include election of officers for 2007-2008, and reports from representatives of the various presidential campaigns for 2008. The meeting will be held at the McLaughlin Science Center auditorium at Gould Academy on Church Street in Bethel. The Science Center is next to Hanscom Hall, set back from Church Street. The meeting is open to all interested in electing Democrats.
The Oxford County Democrats have established a new on-line newsletter. The Oxford County Democrats are in the process of redesigning the web site, www.oxforddems.org and expect to launch a new, more interactive web presence later in the winter.
